Day One: In our hermit crab habitat, we have a place for them to eat, sleep, drink, and hide.
Observations: We only had one hermit crab in our habitat the next day and other groups had 3 or more! We decided we needed to improve our habitat!
Day Two: We added another, bigger, shelter for more hermit crabs to hide in. We also made a bigger watering place so there would be less competition.
Observations:
Today we had more crabs! We think that adding a bigger shelter helped.
Day Three:
oday we are going to see if we can get even more by increasing the size of the food dish so there's less competition.
